Whatever you want to call it: intention, goal, desire, or vision...are you struggling to achieve yours? I know that I am...it's actually a daily battle ... taking on the challenge of defining what exactly I desire for my life, setting out my intentions. IT's hard!
But I know that defining my goal(s) provides the clarity I need in order to have at least a 50% chance of achieving them. You see, the fog and haze of not being clear on your goals will impede you from even getting a start, so
clarity is absolutely critical, and I'd venture to say THE most critical part of the goal achieving process. Once you gain clarity, you position yourself to attract what you want, and at that point you start to recognize everything that's already in your life that will help you achieve your goals, and to begin to identify things in your life that will NOT serve you in reaching them. Furthermore, as your goals begin to unfold, clarity will help you acknowledge its presence.
"So how do I get clarity?"
"What exactly do I want my life to look like?"
"Also, what do I NOT want my life to look like?"
The are vital questions to ask yourself . Yes, you must identify both what you want AND what you don't want. According to Michael Losier, this is the law contrast (more on that later).
Your aim to clarifying your life's vision is hone in on what you must be, do and have to live out your definition of "happy"... if you do not self-clarify, you run the risk of unconsciously living out someone else's goal or equally as bad, drifting aimlessly through life.
Think of the process of gaining clarity as setting your GPS...as you define your desired path, your subconscious mind will start to lead you there and your passion to get there becomes a strong desire. It’s just a matter of setting intention & focus.
Everything in life comes down to the vision we have for it...our vision experiencing certain feelings. It’s what we’re made for.
For our purposes, we’ll further define it as a strong and positive feeling.
Because that’s what we want.
So remember that.
Passion will not be a sport or a person or a practice.
Those things can be a container for passion, which is the feeling we seek. |
